Looking is free. Copying isn't.

You are welcome to view our designs and share links to them. Viewing a template, screenshot or demo doesn’t give you any right to use it. Without our written permission, you may not:

  • copy a layout or design, or build something closely based on it;
  • reuse our code, stylesheets, graphics, icons or text;
  • download or save our demos to reuse them;
  • show our designs or screenshots in your own portfolio or marketing;
  • use our designs to train software or to generate copies of them.

When a design is yours to use

A design is licensed only when we build a website from it for a client. When the final payment is made, you can use the finished website for your business, permanently.

  • Your brand, your content and the custom work we do for you belong to you.
  • Our templates are starting points that we may also use for other clients, with their own brands and content.

Code and open-source software

WordPress is open-source software licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL). Where WordPress requires it, the PHP code we deliver is licensed to you under the GPL. Designs, images, stylesheets and text are covered by this licence. Third-party fonts, icons and images keep their own licences.

Report copying

If you think someone has copied our work, email info@stackmime.com with a link to the copy and, if you can, the original. We review every report and may ask the website owner or host to remove it.
